Traditional & Contemporary Deem Sum
San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, April 3, 2005
San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, April 3, 2005YANK SING

During the week, dim sum is served in the pleasantly appointed dining room, but on weekends it's so popular that tables spill out into the lobby of Rincon Center, creating enough space to serve 500. Yet even on weekends, what comes out of Yank Sing's immaculate kitchen is fresh and inviting. On any given day the carts will be filled with 80 items, including the "creative collection," where the chefs riff on traditional offerings. In addition to the Rincon restaurant, there's a small, more casual location on Stevenson.
