Most dim sum parlors offer the standards, but Yank Sing the chefs are continually experimenting with new flavor combinations. On any given day, you'll find up to 80 different items, including the "creative collection," which changes regularly. It might include the likes of chicken curry in an avocado half with Parmesan cheese or lamb dumplings with mint. The business has been in the same family since 1958, and a younger generation is poised to carry on the tradition. In addition to the handsome Rincon restaurant, there's a small, more casually location on Stevenson.
